This mural is made from plywood, plastic bottle lids and acrylic paint. Each class discussed the importance of using recyclable materials and how we are able to regenerate and give new life to objects through recycling. The dragonfly artwork links into the recyclable artwork symbolising change and transformation. Approximately 630 students were involved in the Art project. The story of St Peter and Dominican Nuns is embedded in our school history and the students and school community are reminded of this every day when they view the mural. It provides a quiet place of reflection and gratitude for those who came before us.
