Inclusive Student Leadership

St Simon Peter Catholic Primary School has launched a new initiative recognising the leadership potential of all students, including those with disabilities. A student with a disability has been appointed as a student leader, taking on meaningful roles within the school community. This student is actively involved in leading assemblies, participating in school tours, and contributing to leaders’ meetings. The initiative promotes inclusivity, celebrates diverse strengths, and provides authentic opportunities for student voice and representation—fostering confidence, building valuable skills, and reinforcing the school’s commitment to a culture where every individual is valued.
