Challenging behaviours in students are becoming more prominent and increasingly complex. At Orana Catholic Primary School, we value the importance of nurturing students and creating safe and supportive environments for students, staff, and community members. This initiative made us move out of our comfort zone and reflect on the way we approached challenging behaviours at school. The Collaborative and Proactive Solutions model (Dr Ross Greene) gives children ownership and enhances the responsibility for their actions and the affect these have on others. It is amazing what happens when we ask children how they think we can solve a problem.
