Salvado Catholic College Year 6 House Captains created a successful PJC (Peace Justice Compassion) initiative. PJC amplifies our Catholic Identity, modelling and integrating faith, culture and life. This encourages young people to be good citizens of the world. House Captains noticed that our playgrounds are very busy during lunchtime. Their question was, “ Would staff on duty appreciate some help?” Being proactive, our student leaders brainstormed and created a PJC role.
PJC give their lunchtimes to help others. This may include tying up shoelaces, help with play equipment, asking students who look sad or alone if they are okay. They also recognise students who are being kind to others by giving W.E.S.T. reward slips.
