Podcasting in Primary Schools

Orana Catholic Primary School considers each day to be filled with exciting learning opportunities. Thinking about learning in this way, triggers an appetite for exploring new ways of accomplishing and improving classic learning pedagogies. After a hiatus of several years, 2022 has marked a renewal of student podcasting at Orana. This podcast reignites an eclectic collection of episodes to over 100 students in two year levels creating a range of podcast shows to inform and entertain. By using podcasting as an adjunct to the writing process, teachers have inspired students to reveal their inner collaborator, speaker, and entertainer.
