The Noongar Seasons Garden was an initiative from the Year Eleven students and proceeded in collaboration with the Geckos group, the Ground’s staff and Aboriginal people external to the College.
The initial aim of the project was that the Year Eleven students wished to leave a meaningful, serviceable and enduring memorial to the school community. All students were involved in the creation of the garden.
It serves as a space for recreation, reflection and learning for the whole College community and complements the aesthetic nature of the grounds. The garden acknowledges the Wadjuk people of the Noongar Nation, the first custodians of this area.
