To foster St Peter’s students’ critical and creative skills for the future, TRUE Inquiry was introduced as a whole-school approach. Students in Pre-Primary to Year 6 engage in Inquiry lessons each week with both the Inquiry specialist teacher and their classroom teacher, which then continues across the curriculum in the classroom. Projects are student-driven, with a focus on exploring the world around them. Inquiry projects centre around the school’s TRUE values – trust, respect, unity, and excellence. Students have made connections with the wider community, including supporting Vinnies WA, as well as working with a local Noongar educator to create a native bush food garden.
