Vinnies ‘Tough Night Out’

Ursula Frayne Catholic College is dedicated to actively collaborating and forming partnerships with community organisations. This event aimed to increase awareness and gather funds for addressing youth homelessness within our local community. Through guest presentations by representatives from Vinnies and Passages Youth Engagement Hubs, students gained insights into the hardships encountered by homeless youth. The initiative resulted in students successfully raising over $13,000 for Passages Youth Engagement Hubs. By participating in a night of experiencing 'tough' sleeping conditions, students were able to connect with the challenges confronted by homeless youth and foster a greater sense of compassion towards the issue.
