St Joseph’s School’s Yarning Circle is a project they have been planning for a few years. Last year their Kaartdijin (Knowledge) Ministry and Principal picked a spot and the process began. They now have an amazing space for staff and students to come, sit and yarn. A special component of the Yarning Circle is a bench dedicated to an Indigenous Staff Member who retired after 32 years of service to the school. This bench is lovingly called the 'Nan Tina Bench'. Once completed the Yarning Circle was Blessed by Father Simeon San and is ready for use.
