Portraits of our Presentation Sisters

Authentic, real-world learning is the cornerstone of the College’s Visual Arts program. The Portraits of our Presentation Sisters Project provided students with an authentic and transformative learning opportunity. Using the mediums of interview, in-class learning, various art techniques and reflection, students deeply engaged with the extraordinary lives of the Presentation Sisters. This significant collaboration resulted in a series of original artworks that go beyond mere visual representations; they exhibit meaningful narrative portraits. The images from this project and the resulting publication have profoundly resonated throughout the entire school community and aid in preserving the stories and legacy of the Presentation Sisters.
