Good Shepherd Catholic School LOCKRIDGE
Good Shepherd Catholic School has created a culture of sustainability through a range of student-led initiatives that encourage responsible environmental practices. Central to this is the composting program, where food waste is diverted from landfill and transformed into compost using on-site composting machines. Students actively participate in collecting and sorting food scraps, learning about environmental stewardship and waste reduction. The Greatest Of All Time Award recognises and celebrates classes that consistently demonstrate sustainable behaviours, encouraging whole-school engagement. Together with the recycling hub and Containers for Change program, these initiatives empower students to care for creation and make a positive impact on the environment.
Please note the People’s Choice award is across all categories and each individual is only entitled to one vote.
