THE SYNODAL WAY FORWARD IN CATHOLIC SCHOOL COMMUNITIES

The Final Document and Implementation Pathways of the Synod on Synodality present a vision of the Church, rooted in Baptism and marked by listening, discernment, participation and shared mission. The Heart of Synodality, Building Relationships, Shared Decision-Making, Shared Gifts, and Living with Purpose are themes that offer a practical framework for strengthening Catholic identity and mission in schools. Grounded in post-resurrection Gospel encounters, these themes promote collaboration, service and missionary discipleship. Closely aligned with CEWA’s Strategic Compass 2030, they support Formation for Mission, Excellence for Success, Witness for Impact, and Growth for Access, fostering Christ-centred, inclusive and mission-driven learning communities.
