Trust in God. Live with Mercy: One College, One Mission

The amalgamation provided an opportunity to do more than unite two sets of mottos and values. The College embraced the richness of Integral Human Development as the foundation for reimagining its Catholic identity, ensuring the new motto and PK–12 Values Scope and Sequence reflected the mission of Catholic education. The new motto, Trust in God. Live with Mercy, and the developmental Values Framework intentionally form the whole person, guiding students from Mercy Kids in the primary years to Mercy Leaders in secondary. The MERCY acronym provides a shared language of formation that nurtures each student’s spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social, cultural and physical flourishing.
