St Lawrence’s Student Engagement and Wellbeing Guidelines

The Student Engagement and Wellbeing Guidelines were developed to create an inclusive, consistent, and compassionate approach to supporting students across the school community. Informed by staff feedback and collaborative workshops using the MTSS framework, the guidelines reflect the school’s commitment to understanding behaviour through the lens of engagement and wellbeing. Grounded in the Berry Street Education Model, they strengthen partnerships between school, family, and community while providing clear processes and supports for students. The initiative has enhanced staff confidence and consistency, improved student wellbeing and engagement, and fostered a culture where every student is known, valued, cared for, and able to thrive.
