St Paul’s Primary School has established an inquiry-driven Professional Learning Community that strengthens teaching through collaborative action research and evidence-informed practice. Each year, staff engage in a shared inquiry aligned with the school’s Catholic School Improvement Plan, CEWA’s Vision for Learning, the Literacy and Numeracy Position Statements, contemporary research and the school’s evolving pedagogical handbook. Teachers investigate a pedagogical focus, trial and evaluate evidence-informed strategies, and develop practical resources, classroom exemplars and modelled teaching videos that are shared across the school. This sustainable approach captures and strengthens professional knowledge, ensuring every student benefits from consistent, high-quality, responsive teaching.
