Walking the Footsteps of Catherine McAuley – Mercy Pilgrimage

Pilgrimage of Mercy brought 180 years of Mercy heritage to life through a staff led formation experience across the Mercy College campus. More than 200 staff walked in the footsteps of Catherine McAuley, encountering the Mercy story through prayer, place, movement, music, hospitality, silence and reflection. The campus became a living narrative, connecting the Sisters of Mercy’s arrival in Western Australia with the College’s mission today. Staff were invited not simply to remember the past, but to recognise themselves as stewards of the story, carrying Mercy forward through compassionate leadership, service, relationships and daily action for students, families and the community.
