Gathered at the Table: The Last Supper in Action

During the Lenten season, Kindy and Pre-Primary students at Our Lady of Good Counsel School re-enacted the Last Supper, dressed as Jesus’ disciples, breaking bread and sharing juice (as wine) at long tables while teachers knelt to wash the children’s feet. As part of the school’s strategic commitment to strengthening school–parish partnerships, the celebration was extended through collaboration with the Parish, welcoming Parish Priests, senior parishioners, parents and grandparents to pray alongside the children. The experience brought faith to life through authentic relationships, creating an intergenerational community where the Gospel was encountered, celebrated and lived.
