Maths On The Move: Maths Is Everywhere, Come Find It With Us!

Maths on the Move brought the OLGC Early Years Numeracy Project to life for 92 families across 116 students. Conceived by the school’s K–2 teaching team as part of their second year in CEWA’s Early Years Numeracy Project, this hands-on community morning invited Kindy to Year 2 families into school to explore rich maths activities alongside their children, rotating through classrooms to witness how maths progresses across the early years. Senior parishioners from Karrinyup-Innaloo Parish ensured every child had a companion. Keynote expert Jenny Jongste inspired families with practical take-home strategies. Maths is everywhere and the community came to find it.
