Expressing faith through culture

Luurnpa Catholic School is located in a remote area of the Kimberley and all students are First Nations. The school recognises that for its students to thrive, it is essential that school is a culturally safe environment. Students feel valued and have opportunities to express their culture through their faith and learning. Church Leaders, families and First Nations Teaching Assistants work with non-First Nations staff to help create this environment. Students participate in and share their culture with pride and enthusiasm.
