St Joseph’s School WYNDHAM
Recognising significant health and wellbeing challenges within the Wyndham community, St Joseph’s School Wyndham initiated and led the development of a sustainable community garden to improve access to fresh food, health education, and community engagement. Guided by Catholic Social Teaching and informed by AEDC data, the school identified an opportunity to address local needs. Funding was secured through the EON Foundation, and strong partnerships were built with families, Elders, community organisations, and local stakeholders. The project has become a lasting community asset, improving student wellbeing and community participation. Its impact extends beyond Wyndham, now informing university programs that support future educators.
