Reset Room Initiative

The Reset Room is a student-led wellbeing initiative at St Mary’s Primary School that empowers students to design and create a sensory-informed space supporting self-regulation, inclusion, and engagement. Grounded in the Kimochis wellbeing framework, students explored emotional awareness, resilience, and relationship skills through authentic discussions and collaborative learning experiences. Using student voice, STEM design thinking, and digital technologies, learners identified needs and developed solutions that promote positive learning behaviours. The project strengthens student agency, fosters belonging, and supports successful re-engagement with learning. Through innovation, wellbeing, and collaboration, the Reset Room empowers every student to thrive and reach their potential.
