Driven by a commitment to inclusion and reconciliation, St Joseph’s School’s First Nations Wellbeing Curriculum empowers students and staff through culturally rich, holistic learning. Co-designed with local Elders and educators, the program embeds Aboriginal perspectives into wellbeing, spirituality, and daily learning. It enhances cultural understanding, strengthens identity, and fosters empathy across the school community. Students benefit through improved engagement, belonging, and cultural literacy; staff gain confidence and cultural responsiveness. Grounded in CEWA’s Vision for Learning, the initiative nurtures compassionate, purposeful learners and strengthens community connections—representing a meaningful step towards healing and shared understanding.
