Boornoo Wangkiny

Boornoo Wangkiny means message stick in Noongar language. Our Indigenous Team created the idea of the Boornoo Wangkiny for our year 7 PCG’s, to have and design. These message sticks will stay with the PCG Class all through their high school life. Every year they will move class and the Boornoo Wangkiny will go with them. They will add their own story and journey on the sticks through Aboriginal art, using symbols and words. When they get to year 12, they can look back on their journey and share their message shown on the Boornoo Wangkiny.
