City-Country Partnership Program

Chisholm Catholic College, St Mary’s College, and Sacred Heart Primary School united through the City–Country Partnership Program. Commencing in 2023, the Program builds relationships across cultural and geographic boundaries, with reconciliation at its heart. Supported by Catholic Education WA and the Yadha Muru Foundation, it immerses students and staff in one another’s communities, fostering cultural pride, understanding, and respect. Through shared First Nations-led learning, STEAM projects, and cultural immersions, participants gain real-world skills, empathy, and lasting friendships. Staff benefit from cultural responsiveness training and collaborative networks, while respective communities are strengthened by trust, respect, and a shared commitment.
