The College organised the Danjoo Koorliny Staff Conference and Community event, themed 'Walking Together' to foster connections, enhance our reconciliation journey, and acknowledge our Aboriginal history. The events featured plenaries and sessions that enhanced our Reconciliation Action Plan and understanding of the upcoming referendum. Fr Frank Brennan’s address preceded discussions led by Indigenous leaders, stressing active listening, healing, justice, and reconciliation while valuing Aboriginal voices. Grounded in the Ignatian tradition, this initiative was aimed to recognise historical injustices and cultivate an inclusive community aligned with the Catholic Social Teaching principles of Human Dignity and the Common Good.
