Early Bird Reading and Twilight Story Night

Mercy College’s mission is to empower students to become information literate and independent learners with a passion for reading. They provide opportunities for Primary students to embrace reading for pleasure through two initiatives, which are celebrating their 10th anniversary in 2024. Early Bird Reading is a weekly before school reading club. Younger students can read independently, with a parent or a Year 5/6 student, building their literacy skills and confidence. Twilight Story Night is an evening for students in Pre-Primary - Year 2 and their caregivers. They experience the library after dark, listening to wonderful stories read by Mercy's master storytellers.
