ELEVATING COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND PARTNERSHIPS: A collaborative health project to support the diverse needs of our students

Whitford Catholic Primary School is leading the way in developing community partnerships to address the needs of students providing speech and occupational therapy in local Catholic primary schools. A partnership has been developed between Edith Cowan University (ECU) and six local Catholic primary schools to provide placements for the speech and occupational therapy students at ECU. This partnership has had a significant positive impact on the early years' education and development of children by ensuring they have access to essential specialist health services.
