Entering with Hope

To celebrate the Jubilee Year of Hope, St Vincent’s School transformed its front gates into a symbolic “Holy Door”—a place of welcome, renewal, and faith. Adorned with familiar imagery including the cross, gumnuts, leaves, and the kookaburra, the door invites students, staff, and families to enter with open hearts. At the beginning of 2025, classes took part in a gentle, prayerful ritual, reflecting on the meaning of spiritual journey and renewal. Blending Catholic tradition with nature and culture, this initiative created a sacred and meaningful experience for the whole school community.
