Developed at Holy Cross College, Exploring First Nations Perspectives: Big Ideas Learning through Inquiry is a collaborative project that embeds Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures, and perspectives into classroom learning. Created with input from First Nations staff and educators, it supports culturally responsive teaching through age-appropriate lessons, discussions, and activities. The resource empowers students to engage meaningfully with First Nations voices and promotes respect, understanding, and connection. It strengthens identity, inclusion, and cultural competence while aligning with CEWA’s Vision for Learning, fostering deeper student engagement and staff confidence in teaching First Nations content.
