Guided by the Spirit

St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Pinjarra’s “Guided by the Spirit” initiative provided staff with a transformative, creative faith formation experience centred on the Holy Spirit. Through collaborative mosaic art, theological reflection, and scriptural engagement, staff deepened their connection to Jesus, strengthened Catholic identity, and grew spiritually as individuals and as a team. Aligned with CEWA’s Bold Goals and supporting accreditation, this retreat-style day empowered staff to witness their faith through hands-on expression and dialogue. It reminded them “you can’t give what you don’t have”—demonstrating that when faith is nurtured, it becomes a visible and lived expression of Catholic mission.
