Hand in Hand: Transforming Lives

Secondary students from Clontarf Aboriginal College became buddies with Pre-Primary students at the neighbouring St Pius X School, in an effort to walk ‘hand in hand’ and experience Indigenous culture through authentic, engaging, play based activities. These experiences began transforming relationships between students, staff and families whilst developing essential communication skills. Student engagement skyrocketed, with increased confidence and wellbeing evident in both classes. Diversity and inclusivity were celebrated as we witnessed Christian living in action.
