Homeless We Care Parent Participation

Orana Catholic Primary School demonstrates the Gospel values through our school motto To Give is to Receive. Through their participation in the Homeless We Care project; our parent body have prioritised respecting the dignity of the marginalised and poor. Once a term, over 180 meals are provided for the homeless in the city. Our parent group cook a variety of meals which the Orana staff then distribute. The Year 6 Social Justice Team have undertaken many fundraising projects to financially support this project. Being involved in Homeless We Care has shown the whole Orana community that our school values (Generosity, Respect and Excellence) and motto are not just words, but actions.
