Illumin8 – Year 8 Innovation & Entrepreneurship Project

Illumin8 is a Year 8 innovation and entrepreneurship project inspired by the legacy of Venerable Nano Nagle and the Presentation Sisters. Working in teams, students employ design thinking, digital capability, and creative thinking to develop authentic solutions to real-world problems. Guided by industry mentors, entrepreneurs and teachers, students build agency, collaboration, critical thinking and innovation capabilities while responding to genuine community needs. Through prototyping, pitching and a community showcase, Illumin8 empowers Iona students to become compassionate changemakers who use their gifts to positively influence the world around them.
