Instructional Masses

Our Lady’s Assumption School has deepened its understanding of the Mass and supported the evangelisation of the school by hosting a series of three Instructional Masses for students, staff, and community. Commentary during each Mass explained the meaning behind the prayers, rites, and rituals of the liturgy. The Masses were led by Father Kenneth D’Souza and OLA staff, under the theological guidance of Dr Nathan Leber. This initiative fostered reverence, reflection, and renewed participation, allowing students and staff to experience a greater understanding of the Mass. The Instructional Masses have enhanced faith formation and supported the Catholic School Improvement Plan.
