Through regular (termly) visits and activities such as interviews and games, students develop empathy and communication skills, while residents enjoy companionship and engagement. The project demonstrates the school’s commitment to student and community well-being by promoting inclusivity, social responsibility, and intergenerational understanding. Supported by staff, the initiative encourages personal growth and community involvement, reinforcing Sacred Heart’s mission to provide holistic education. The project’s success is assessed through surveys, reflections, and observations and visual documentaries, highlighting its positive impact.
