Combined Faith Day

The combined faith day “Wellbeing and Spirituality through Prayer” was a collaboration of three participating schools. It called for expression of our shared vision and mission within Catholic education in establishing a common theme for the day. Whilst acknowledging the individual charism of each Catholic school, the day gave formation for the understanding of prayer and its importance for the holistic development of students. The contemporary understanding of wellbeing was explored in the light of spirituality. This highlighted for our communities the place of spirituality in holistic education so that our students may flourish; “have life and have it to the full” (John 10;10).
