The QCE Framework notes that our staff are our most important and valued resource. Seton Catholic College’s Science department agrees. Over the past 2 years, we have changed our practice to focus on staff wellbeing and developed the Key Teacher model. The team has leveraged OneNote and Teams technology to reduce teacher workload. Consequently, data collected demonstrates that teacher stress has decreased, purpose and optimism has increased, and collaboration within the team has been enhanced. With this sustainable commitment to staff needs being met, our capacity to cater for student needs has flourished.
