Let’s Have a Yarn

Inspired by student voice to create a safe and respectful space to share stories and teach culture, La Salle College embarked on an exciting journey to create an Aboriginal Yarning Circle. By creating a space for storytelling, sharing knowledge, and engaging in meaningful conversations, staff and students have the opportunity to grow a deeper understanding and appreciation of Aboriginal culture. This transformative project celebrates our commitment to developing cultural humility and creating a diverse and inclusive school community. Our Yarning Circle has laid the foundation for dynamic educational experiences and stronger community connections for today’s and future Lasallians.
