Little Chef’s Cooking Program

Notre Dame Catholic Primary School’s Little Chef’s Cooking Program provides engaging, hands-on learning for students with disabilities. Each week, students cook a recipe and complete a related activity, inviting a different friend to share the experience. The program supports life skills, literacy and numeracy development, fine motor practice, and social connection. Benefits include learning life skills; rich literacy and mathematical follow-up tasks; practising a range of fine motor skills; and building social skills and relationships with peers. Little Chef’s Cooking Program fosters confidence, independence, and belonging in a fun, inclusive environment.
