Living the Gospel: Growing Stewards Through Community Partnerships

St Thomas More Catholic Primary School demonstrates its commitment to Catholic Social Teaching and care for our common home through partnerships with Nature Conservation Margaret River Region, the Undalup Rangers and The York Property Group. Students engage in classroom learning, hands-on fieldwork and on-Country experiences, investigating local ecosystems, food webs and water quality through identifying macroinvertebrates. Stewardship in action includes coastal dune rehabilitation, habitat restoration and tree planting using native species sourced from Boranup Forest seed stock and local nurseries. Through inquiry, environmental action and community engagement, students develop cultural understanding, ecological awareness and stewardship of God’s creation.
