Maths On The Move: Maths Is Everywhere, Come Find It With Us!

Maths on the Move brought the OLGC Early Years Numeracy Project to life for 92 families across 116 students. Conceived by our K-2 teaching team as part of their second year in CEWA’s Early Years Numeracy Project, this hands-on community morning invited Kindy to Year 2 families into school to explore rich maths activities alongside their children, rotating through classrooms to witness how maths progresses across the early years. Senior parishioners from Karrinyup-Innaloo Parish, ensured every child had a companion. Keynote expert Jenny Jongste inspired families with practical take-home strategies. Maths is everywhere and our community came to find it.
