My Suburb in 50 Years – Students Planning For the Future

Perth’s population will reach 3.5 million by 2050. In this project, Year 8 Stellatus students collaborated to create a 50-year vision for Perth to house this growing population in sustainable ways that create certainty and prosperity for future generations. This Project has continually evolved during its four years of existence. The increased inclusion of town planning expertise will now be augmented with the introduction of an economic development expert in 2023. This addition will further test the feasibility of the students’ vision for Perth in 50 years and how well they cater for the needs of future generations.
