Notre Dame Catholic Primary School has created a contemporary learning environment through the Makerspace program which challenges students from Kindergarten to Year 6 to practise designing, building, experimenting and inventing through hands on, personalised experiences. The teacher guided and student directed activities enhance the development of future skills such as problem solving, critical thinking, digital fluency and innovation through the exploration of electronics, coding, design and making. The program continues to develop the learning needs and interests of their students, improve teaching practice and learning outcomes. Makerspace @NDCPS allows students to dream, wonder and design in an engaging play-based environment.
