Our Welcome and Acknowledgement to Country Video – The Sights and Sounds of our Sorrento School on Whadjuk Nyoongar country

The creation of the Acknowledgement and Welcome to Country video was a student-led initiative on campus and an opportunity for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to share their culture with the school community, to educate others and to pay respect to the Elders from the past, the present and the future. The students prioritised the inclusion of students of all ages, abilities and walks of life in the video, to visibly illustrate the inclusive nature of our College, we are there for everyone, breaking down barriers between groups, creating confidence and an acceptance for all.
