Siblings Connect (Siblings of students with a disability)

Recognising the unique experiences of siblings of students with disabilities, St Simon Peter Catholic Primary School offers ‘Siblings Connect’—a dedicated support group that nurtures empathy, resilience, and understanding. The program provides a safe and welcoming space where students can share their stories, learn coping strategies, and connect with others in similar situations. Through guided discussions and peer support, students gain insight into their sibling’s needs while building confidence and emotional strength. Rooted in compassion and inclusion, ‘Siblings Connect’ strengthens family bonds and affirms the school’s commitment to the wellbeing of every child.
