Small Tabs, Big Impact – Learning to be Men for Others Inspired by Brother Olly Pickett

Inspired by Brother Olly Pickett’s mission to build and donate wheelchairs to children in need, our Year 4 students led a whole-school pull tab collection to support Wheelchairs for Kids. Through the Trinity College Environmental Committee, students designed collection boxes, raised awareness at school events, and extended the initiative into their homes and communities. A visit to the Malaga factory and stories of children whose lives had been transformed moved students deeply, igniting empathy and gratitude. This powerful student-led initiative reflects our Catholic mission, fosters the spirit of Men for Others, and demonstrates how small actions can change lives.
