St Francis of Assisi Make Their Move

St Francis of Assisi Catholic Primary School has embraced the ‘Your Move’ initiative, encouraging students to travel to school in active and sustainable ways. Since 2023, the school has introduced ‘Walking Wednesdays’ and ‘Feel Good Fridays’, resulting in a 25% increase in active travel. Community events such as National Walk and Ride to School Day and Bike Month have helped build momentum and engagement. The program has shifted mindsets across the school, inspiring healthier habits, environmental awareness, and a stronger sense of connection between families and the school community.
