St Joseph’s School Waroona STEMathon 2025: Uniting Schools, Inspiring Minds, Building Community

The 2025 St Joseph’s School, Waroona STEMathon was a uniting celebration of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, drawing together 7 schools, nearly 500 students, over 100 presenters and volunteers, and countless community partners. The largest Science Week event outside of metropolitan Australia, it was entirely planned, coordinated, and hosted by the school’s dedicated staff, whose collaboration and commitment were extraordinary. This inclusive event fostered partnerships between schools, industry, universities, and local groups, inspiring wonder and learning in all. It stands as a shining example of a rural Catholic school building community, igniting curiosity, and living the Gospel through joyful, shared learning.
