The Big Lent Walk

St Mary MacKillop College marked the 10th anniversary of its amalgamation with the Big Lent Walk—a 7.5km pilgrimage from Our Lady of the Bay Church to St Joseph’s Church. Over 350 Year 6 and 7 students walked in solidarity, raising more than $7000 for Project Compassion and living out Catholic Social Justice Principles. The journey invited reflection on the history of the College’s founding schools and the growth of Catholic education in Busselton. In the spirit of St Mary MacKillop, students became Pilgrims of Hope, demonstrating what is possible in a united K–12 Catholic community.
