The Mazenod For…project

Mazenod College welcomes students from regional Western Australia, many of whom leave their homes to board at the College. While boarding families are often grateful for the opportunity to access metropolitan education, regional communities are increasingly aware that students may lose connection to their home towns and choose to remain in the city after graduation. Recognising this challenge, ‘Mazenod For’ projects aim to strengthen ties between boarding students and their regional communities—ensuring that the connection to place, identity, and belonging remains strong throughout their educational journey and beyond.
